- masoor dal (green Lentils) 250gms
- moong dal (yellow Lentils) 250gms
- onions 100gms
- oil 75gms
- turmeric power 02gms
- chilly green 05gms
- salt 05gms
- water 02ltrs
METHOD:
- wash both dal (Lentils) and rice together and drain, roast moong dal (yellow Lentils)
- slice onion, heat oil, fry onion and keep half for garnishing.
- add rice dal, turmeric chilly green. Ginger cardamon, cloves, salt, fry till rice being to stick. add water , cook till the grains are tender.
- remove from fire garnish with onion and serve hot.
