  • Rice 600gms
  • masoor dal (green Lentils) 250gms
  • moong dal (yellow Lentils) 250gms
  • onions 100gms
  • oil 75gms
  • turmeric power 02gms
  • chilly green 05gms
  • salt 05gms
  • water 02ltrs

METHOD:

  1. wash both dal (Lentils) and rice together and drain, roast moong dal (yellow Lentils)
  2. slice onion, heat oil, fry onion and keep half for garnishing.
  3. add rice dal, turmeric chilly green. Ginger cardamon, cloves, salt, fry till rice being to stick. add water , cook till the grains are tender.
  4. remove from fire garnish with onion and serve hot.
