Variations:
- You can use lamb instead of mutton.
- You can add chopped mint leaves to the mixture for an extra burst of flavor.
- If you want to make a healthier version, you can bake the kofta balls in the oven instead of frying them.
- You can also make a delicious gravy to serve with the kofta balls. For this, heat oil in a separate pan, add some chopped onions and fry until they turn golden brown. Add some ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree, and spices (such as cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala) and cook for a few minutes until the gravy thickens. Then, add the fried kofta balls to the gravy and let them cook for a few minutes until the gravy is heated through.
- Another variation is to stuff the kofta balls with raisins or chopped nuts before frying them. This adds a sweet and nutty flavor to the dish.
Hope you enjoy trying out these variations and making some delicious mutton kofta!
